Everyone knows that the best way to get a head start in any industry is to intern, intern and then intern again. In the world of Public Relations, connections and the way you present yourself are #everything. While many believe that the hardest part is landing the internship, the real obstacles come the moment you walk through the door. It is always important to put your best self forward, because you never know where it could lead you. The relationships you form will be very beneficial to your future career, and the learning experience is invaluable. Often times, people climb the ranks by simply starting off as an intern. If you can prove your dedication and hard work, then chances are your boss will take note. With that in mind, arriving prepared and looking your absolute best are a must. This is why I’m sharing some things that have helped me make a good impression, starting with what to bring and what to wear. That way you can be successful, and look good while doing it.
